    I just got the Passover CD. There is about 6 minutes of silence in "Call to Arms" then an acoustic song comes in for about 3.

    Is this supposed to happen or is it a defect on my copy?

    I'm new here so please excuse me if this question has been asked/answered.

    That is supposed to happen. I wish I could remember the song, but the delayed song is a cover song with a few changed lines. I am drawing a blank, but someone filled me in on this too. I am pretty sure that the original is a reggae-ish number, but i could be wrong. Welcome to the Black Angels family!!!!! New album out on 9/14 and check out austinpsychfest.com for all sorts of fun.....

    Thanks! You're right, after I listened to it again it seemed that that is the way it was intended. It was such an awesome jam and I love the place where it was going! I was really looking forward to 8 more minutes of that and then all of a sudden...someone pulled the plug! lol

    Anyway, it's an awesome track.

    jimmy cliff original version ...... for me lacks the powererful haunting nature of the BA version but then thats reggae for you.... it cant help but make me feel good no matter how shitty the message.
