I am getting married to the love wedding invitations of my life this September.wedding invitation I will be taking the biggest leap of my life and I know that it will be the most wonderful day of our lives. But I am very nervous about this day because I want it bridesmaid dresses to be perfect and so I am picking out the invitation cards myself. I could not find any shop which had the perfect card so I decided to go online and do some research.cheap bridesmaid dresses I can proudly say that this has been the best decision I have made so far.

I am listening to The Asteroid No. 4 morning, noon and night. I can't get enough. In fact I am missing only 1 of their songs to complete my collection so if anyone can help, let me know. The song is called 'You Gotta Catch' from a slightly obscure early EP called Polyphase 4.

What drew me back to A4 was listening to the Rain Parade after receiving Crashing Dream for a Christmas present. A4 are obviously influenced by RP (they even cover 'I Look Around'. I also have been listening to a lot of other so-called 'Paisley Underground' stuff and related artists like Opal, Viva Saturn, Dream Syndicate. Jingly Jangly stuff is the order of the day!

For fans of Dead Meadow, head over to their Myspace site and check out the latest blog entries. They are taking pre-orders for their new release, Three Kings, that comes in a cd/dvd or LP/dvd combo. It has 5 new trracks and live versions of a dozen or so songs, with all sorts of vignets woven throughout. It's better explained at the website. You can also sign up to get exclusive downloads not included in the release.

Same here. I like the Abbatoir Blues thru Lazarus for Cave. The Good Son, Henry's Dream and Let Love in are personal favorites too. I understand his piano based 'No More Shall We Part' stuff, but prefer something a little more...agressive(?) I guess...

Sandman; I'll check out the Northern Star Recs comp. Any favorite songs?

I second the Northen Star Records psychedelia comps. Of the three out, I think volume 2 is my favorite. Lots of really good stuff on them, as they are double CD's with about 32 songs on each comp. I picked up vol 1 in 2006, and it introduced me to a ton of bands I did not know, thrusting me head first into a portion of the new wave of psychedelia. The have announced that volume 4 is in the works. You may also want to check out the Strung Out comp that came out Fall '09: http://www.thirdwavecollective.co.uk/ It's a double Cd as well, and you can listen to CD1 through the previous link. BEWARE, the music starts automatically upon going to that website. I don't own any these, but there are 9 dead bees samplers: http://www.deadbees.com/catalogue-cheque.php

“True Love Cast Out All Evil” is the product of one of the essentially untouchable collaborative efforts of our time; Roky is afforded a supportive musical environment from which he takes his listener to a place that is the essence of his music. Roky's songs are out-and-out unforgettable.

I totally understand and respect your opinion!
The thing is that I bought it(internet power) but the French mail system or whatever it is just sucks, and since i'm leaving for 2 weeks in a couple of days, i just wanted to be able to listen to it.

    “Forever”
words and music by Roky Erickson

    Without One, there would be
    an empty, empty, empty space

    With One, I can see
    One’s own face

Not for a little while, not for a day,
    but forever forever forever
    One shows one the way

One is not a style, One is not a trend
Just the thought of One, makes me smile
And One tells one…. we will never end

Not for a little while, not for a day,
    but forever forever forever
    One shows one the way

One is not lost, one is again
with One, one has the pleasure
as of knowing One’s own name

Not for a little while, not for a day,
    but forever forever forever
    One shows one the way

Not for a little while, not for a day,
    but forever forever forever
    One shows one the way

I can't recommend the new album by The Coral enough. It's called 'Butterfly House' and it's a gentle psychedelic delight in the vein of The Byrds, CSNY with a little bit of Love thrown in, although it's not derivative in the slightest. Get the deluxe edition because that comes with a bonus disc containing a few more cracking tracks.

I had read somewhere on the BJM forum that their new one will sound very different from the previous releases. Is that the case? Can't wait to get my hands on that one. New Lovetones, and Asteroid #4 should be coming this fall as well.

It is a little different, more jingle-jangle than their previous albums. I read somewhere that it sounds a little like Moby Grape. Now I know a few Moby Grape songs but this wasn't something that immediately struck me, but after listening again I can definitely hear them in there. I'm going to revisit Moby Grape again on the strength of Alive As You Are.

Didn't know about Lovetones or Asteroid #4 but that's another 2 to add to the 2010 psych rollout.
