We just got back from out west to meet up with BRMC in Scottsdale, AZ and LA, CA for 2 shows. We also added a show at The Beauty Bar in Las Vegas; thanks to everyone for coming out.

In other news, our new album 'Directions to See a Ghost' is set to be released digitally on April 15th
and in record shops on May 13th. A special limited edition 4 song EP will be available
for those who purchase the digital version of 'Directions to See a Ghost'.

Live Music Capitol and The Black Angels present the First Annual Austin Psych Fest, March 8th, at the Red Barn, a new music & arts venue dedicated to the heritage of Austin as the birthplace of psychedelic music. Inspired by the Vulcan Gas Company, we hope to resurrect the spirit of the sane-minded individual through psychedelic music, visuals, and art.

Open up your mind and let it all come thru. Invite a friend, because March 8th marks the dawn of a new era, when the doors of perception will be opened, and Austin will see again. The Barn opens at Noon. Performing bands include:

We'll be taking a short break for the holidays and getting our 2nd album ready for release in the Spring. So we'll see everybody in 2008.

We'll be visiting our neighbors in Houston & Dallas at the end of November to premier the new film by Scott Conn, Dirt Road to Psychedelia (view at MySpace), about Austin, Texas during the 1960's. Along with us will be The Strange Boys.

We'll be heading westward Sept. 26th starting in Arizona & working our way up the coast to San Francisco for the Download Festival. Special appearances by Spindrift & Brian Glaze and the Night Shift along the way...

Then we head east on Oct. 12 - Oct. 25 supporting Queens of the Stone Age.

On Oct. 29 we'll meet back up with Spindrift, to bring the show to the East coast...from Birmingham to Boston.
